Kelly Named Weekly Winner of Lexus Award. Senior William Kelly was recently named as a weekly nomination for the Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Award and is now in the running for a $10,000 scholarship that will be awarded at the end of the school year! Trio of Saints Named to T-D All-Metro Team. Three Saints wrestlers: Joey Prata, Ian Saunders, and Carrington Lanier were named to the Richmond Times-Dispatch's 2014 All-Metro Wrestling team. To read about the honors, please click here.

Ames Wins VAWA States. Middle School wrestler Jens Ames won the 175 lb. in the 14 and under division of the Virginia Wrestling Association State Tournament. To read about the event, please click here.

Joey Prata Wins Prep Nationals! Sophomore Joey Prata became the first St. Christopher's wrestler to win a National Prep title when he defeated Blair Academy's Zach Sherman 7-2 in the 106 lb. final, helping lead the Saints to a 10th place finish. Will Kelly became a three-time National Prep All-American with his 5th place finish at 126 lbs. To read about the event, please click here.

All 13 Saints Wrestlers Place at States. With four champions and thirteen place winners, the St. Christopher's wrestling team finished 2nd at the VISAA State Tournament. To read about the event, please click here.

All 13 Saints Seeded for States. All thirteen STC wrestlers are seeded in the top eight of their weight classes for the 2014 VISAA State Tournament. To take a look at their seeds, please click here.

Rudnick Captures St. Alban's Title. Junior Taylor Rudnick won the 152 lb. title at the St. Alban's Tournament in Washington, DC, leading the Saints to a third place finish. Nine other Saints, including finalist William Kelly and Ian Saunders, placed in the tournament. To read about the event, please click here.

Senior Night Brings Successful Win for Saints. On the strength of five decisions, one tech fall, and one pin, the Saints wrestling team defeated the Liberty Christian Academy Bulldogs Tuesday evening on Senior Recognition Night. To read about the event, please click here.

STC Wins 13th Straight Prep League Title! The Saints wrestling team captured it's 13th consecutive Virginia Prep League team title on Saturday, February 1st. Seven wrestlers captured first place including three-time Prep League Champion Tyler Anthony. To read about the event, please click here.

Saints Go 2-1 at Gilman Duals. After dropping their opening match to Wyoming Seminary, the St. Christopher's wrestlers defeated Archbishop Spalding and Gilman at the Hazwell Franklin Gilman Duals. To read about the event, please click here.

STC Wrestlers Finish 3rd at Big Blue. With one champion and a total of nine place winners, the St. Christopher's wrestling team finished in 3rd place at the Big Blue Tournament held at Christiansburg HS on January 17-18. To read about the event, please click here.


Saints Thrash Hawks 62-16. On the backs of five pins and one tech fall, St. Christopher's defeated Hanover in dual meet action Wednesday night. To read about the match, please click here.

Charles Moore posted a perfect 3-0 record at the Virginia Duals.

Moore/Kelly Lead Saints at VA Duals. Seniors Charles Moore and William Kelly  both posted undefeated records for St. Christopher's at the 34th Annual Virginia Duals. The Saints went 1-2 at the event. To read more, please click here.

Saints Finish 3rd at Hawk Duals. Led by captains William Kelly and Ian Saunders, the Saints wrestling team captured 3rd place at the Hawk Duals at Hanover High School. The team beat Woodberry Forest (47-27), Louisa County (45-24), and Hickory (37-28). To read about the event, please click here.

Prata Finishes 2nd at Beast of the East. Sophomore Joey Prata led the Saints wrestlers with a second place finish at the 21st Annual Beast of the East in Delaware. To read about the event, please click here.

Prebish Tapped to Coach USA Cadet World Team. Saints Assistant Coach Rob Prebish was recently selected by USA Wrestling to coach the Greco Roman team that will compete in the 2014 FILA Cadet World Championships in Slovakia in July, 2014. To read more, please click here.

Prata Finishes 7th at Ironman; Saints compete at Richmond Invite. Sophomore Joey Prata finished 7th at 106 lbs. at the Ironman Tournament held at Walsh Jesuit HS in Ohio, while seven others place at the Richmond Invitational. To read about the events, please click here.

Prata and Davis Lead the Way at Hopewell Classic. Joey Prata and Carter Davis both won individual titles for the Saints, while six other wrestlers placed in the top four of their weight classes to bring home 3rd Place at the 42nd Annual Hopewell Classic. To read about the event, please click here.

Saints Open Season 2nd at Early Bird Tourney. The St. Christopher's wrestling team opened the 2013-14 season with a 2nd place finish at the John Carroll High School Early Bird Tournament in Maryland on November 30th. Saints to Open Season With a Scrimmage at UVA. The Saints open their 2013-14 wrestling season with a scrimmage against twelve-times VHSL AA State Champions Christiansburg and AAA power Westfield at the University of Virginia on Saturday, November 23rd. To read about the event, please click here.

Dual Meet with Hanover Added to Schedule! On January 15th, the Saints will travel to Hanover to face off against a very tough Hawks team- one of the top teams in the Central Region. The JV match will begin at 6 PM, with the Varsity starting at 7 PM.
