Led by five champions and twelve place winners, including tournament Outstanding Wrestler Trey Tarr, the St. Christopher's wrestling team turned in a dominating performance, winning the team title at the Willie Waters/Jay Copp Holiday Tournament on December 29-20 at James Wood HS in Winchester, VA. With four individual champions and eight other place winners, the St. Christopher's wrestling team brought home the team title at the STC Invite held in Scott Gymnasium on Saturday, December 12. The Saints amassed 254.5 points to outpace runner-up Franklin County by 42.5 points. Led by champions Brandon Jeske (119), David Wesley (160), Ted Gottwald (160), and Chris Gill (285), the team had a very successful outing. To read more, click here. Led by the efforts of junior David Wesley and freshman Brandon Jeske's runner-up finishes, the St. Christopher's wrestling team began the season with a strong fifth place finish at the Hopewell Classic on December 4-5.
